Terms of service
Yes. The easiest way to make it feel genuinely Meade’s is to change the structure as well as the wording, so it reads like your own policy rather than a re-skinned version of someone else’s.
Terms of Service
These terms explain how purchases from Meade’s Coffee work and what you can expect when using our website.
By shopping with us through www.meadescoffee.co.uk, you agree to the terms below.
Who We Are

Shopping With Us
We do our best to make sure our website, product information, photographs and prices are accurate.
Coffee is a natural product, so small differences in flavour, colour, roast appearance or packaging may occur from time to time.
Placing an Order
When you place an order, you will receive confirmation that we have received it.
We may occasionally need to cancel an order because of stock availability, a pricing error, a payment issue or suspected fraudulent activity.
If payment has already been taken and we cancel the order, you will be refunded.
Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Payment must be completed at checkout using one of the payment methods offered on the website.
We may update our prices from time to time.
Fresh Coffee and Availability
Many of our coffees are prepared with freshness in mind and may be roasted or packed specifically for your order.
From time to time, a coffee may become unavailable or change slightly because of seasonality, crop availability or supply.
Where this affects an order already placed, we will contact you.
Delivery
Available delivery methods and charges are shown at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control, including courier delays, severe weather or disruption to postal services.
Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.
Returns and Problems With Your Order
We want every Meade’s Coffee order to arrive as it should.
If something arrives damaged, incorrect or with a genuine quality issue, please contact us as soon as possible.
Because freshly roasted coffee is a perishable food product, opened coffee cannot normally be returned simply because of a change of mind.
Full information can be found in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Coffee Subscriptions
Where you choose a coffee subscription, payments will renew at the interval selected when you subscribe.
Depending on the subscription options available, you may be able to pause, skip, amend or cancel future deliveries.
Any important changes to subscription pricing or terms will be communicated before they take effect.
Website Content and Meade’s Branding
The Meade’s Coffee name, logo, product photography, packaging, written content and other original material on this website are protected by intellectual property rights.
Please do not reproduce, copy or use our branding or content for commercial purposes without our permission.
Your Responsibilities
When using our website, you agree not to misuse it, interfere with its operation or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
You are also responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information when placing an order.
Our Responsibility
We will provide our products and services with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect use of our products, or for business and commercial losses arising from purchases made as a consumer.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any rights you have under UK consumer law.
Your Personal Information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our website, products or services develop.
The version published on the website at the time you place your order will apply to that purchase.
Legal Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute will be dealt with by the appropriate courts of England and Wales.
